Austrian Grand Prix Preview
Round 10 of the 2023 Formula One World Championship season is coming up this weekend, June 30 to July 2 at the Red Bull Ring in Austria.

Round 10 includes the second sprint race of the six scheduled this year. The last sprint of this season was in Baku, where Charles Leclerc finished P2. Ferrari is excited about this sprint and is looking to grab some points during the sprint race during the Austrian Grand Prix.

Ferrari is expecting the upgrades installed during the Spanish Grand Prix, earlier this month, to continue to demonstrate that the cars are becoming competitive and close to battling it out with the Aston Martins, Red Bull, and Mercedes.
Last year, Leclerc placed first on the podium during the primary race and P2 during the sprint race, bringing home a major win for Ferrari. Carlos Sainz, unfortunately, did not finish the race due to the car catching fire. While Sainz had to retire from the race, he qualified P3, starting the race on the second row and finishing P3 during the sprint race. With the upgrades continually demonstrating to be competitive and the team consistently working to assure the upgrades are at peak performance, Ferrari hopes for podium finishes this weekend for both Leclerc and Sainz.

Ferrari has had positive results at the Austrian Grand Prix the past three seasons with the drivers finishing within the Top 10. This year, Ferrari is expecting the drivers to finish within the Top Six.
The Austrian Grand Prix, held in Spielberg, Austria, at the Red Bull Ring has been part of the Formula One schedule since 2013. The circuit is the smallest circuit with a length of 2.68 miles. While the circuit is the smallest in the season it packs three straights, 10 turns, and various elevation changes.

Ferrari is expecting to use the weather forecast to help it achieve its hopeful goal of having both drivers make it to the podium or within the Top Six. The weather forecast predicts it will be raining periodically and will bring cool weather with temperatures around 68 degrees Fahrenheit.
